General Election
November 5th, 2024
Early Voting starts on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 and continues through Friday, November 1st, 2024.
Early Voting hours are from 8:00AM to 5:00PM daily Monday thru Friday.
Saturday Voting will be on October 19th, 2024 and October 26th, 2024 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
The General Election is Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. Polls will be open from 7:00am – 7:00pm
Early Voting will be held in the Randolph County Government Center, 93 Front St. Cuthbert, GA. Sample Ballots may be obtained from the Randolph County Elections office or by going on sos.ga.gov then go to “Elections” and click on the MVP icon, or by calling the Board of Elections office at 229-732-5220.
Ballot Dropbox is located inside the lobby of the Randolph County Government Center at 93 Front Street, Cuthbert, GA 39840 between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 10th day of September, 2024, a logic and accuracy test of the voting system will be conducted in the voting equipment storage area of the Randolph County Government Building at 93 Front Street, Cuthbert, Georgia. Commencing at 9:00AM and continuing daily until all units have been tested and prepared for the November 5th, 2024 General Election to be conducted in Randolph County. This testing shall remain open to the public to observe, and members of the public are entitled to be present during the preparation and testing of the voting system.
About the Board of Elections
The Board of Elections of Randolph County functions as the superintendent of elections and conducts primaries and elections in accordance with state law. The Board performs all services and functions necessary to support the election process.
The Board establishes boundaries for voting precincts, secures facilities to serve as polling locations for these precincts, recruits, selects, hires, trains and assigns personnel to serve as poll officials. The board also conducts qualification for candidates, develops ballots for elections, acquires, maintains, prepares and delivers equipment used to conduct elections, publicizes notices as required by law and maintains elections records.
The Board of Elections appoints an election supervisor who is responsible for registering local residents to vote and assuring that elections and registration are conducted in accordance with the Georgia Election code, U.S. Justice Department Regulations, State Election Board Rules, Federal and Local Laws.
The Board of Elections consists of three members appointed for four-year terms by the Rndolph County Board of Commissioners. The board oversees the annual budget for the election Office and all activity conducted by the election supervisor. The Board ensures that all services and functions necessary to support the election process are performed.
The election supervisor conducts primaries and elections in accordance with State law. The Election Supervisor secures facilities to serve as polling locations for these precincts, recruits, selects, hires, trains and assigns personnel to serve as poll officials. The Supervisor also conducts qualification for candidates, develops ballots for elections, acquires, maintains, prepares and delivers equipment used to conduct elections, publicizes notices as required by law and maintains elections records.
